CLASS would like to advise residents of Bay Farm and Harbor Bay of an upcoming change in Oakland Airport flight pattern that may affect the noise level in the 94502 area.
These changes are due to general maintenance work being conducted on the main runway on the following dates:
Monday, August 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m
The North Field Runways will be used during these time periods for jet departures and landings. Aircraft may overfly residential areas and residents may experience unusual aircraft noise.
During the month of July, roughly between 41 and 47 commercial jets flew over the 94502 zip code on Mondays between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
