  1. It’s hard for me to be critical of my fellow neighbors on BFI, given that I didn’t do anything to stop the noise either. I did recently start paying more attention to the noise problem after signing onto the next door neighbor site app. Only after seeing the info. provided by class did I realize the severity of this situation. There were no complaints filed by anyone on BFI? You have got to be kidding me. I would be interested in knowing how many if anyone at all attended these meetings. We need to get a lot more people involved if we are going to do anything about these matters. We have been here since 1966. I have watched the Port of Oakland run rough shot over us ever since. They continue to do whatever they want and get away with it. Enough all ready. Nothing against pet lovers but more people seem to be interested in looking for lost cats & dogs. No real interest in doing anything about the noise issue. I can see why to, when it looks like there is nothing you can do about it. That’s why we need to reach more people and get everyone involved in big numbers or else we are doomed!

    • You are right spotted on the issue Bryan. We have had too little population who filed complaints and thus our voice were ignored. Complaints data is the most important(and only) leverage that we have when we consider to bring the issue to Port Oakland and FAA or even consider a lawsuit.(to get a meaningful chance to win). We’ve been trying everything we can to reach out to people and encourage them to make complaints.
